Our guest is Wendy Aimée De Macker, a professional counsellor in systemic therapy with strong focus on couples and family therapy. She is a trainer and counsellor at Vizazi. In part 1 of this episode, we get introduced to our guest, Wendy who shares with us about her happy childhood growing up in the Netherlands until age fifteen, when a tragic road traffic accident involving her family abruptly upended her family’s life, giving rise to challenges which, in large part contributed towards her interest in psychology and social work.
